Wanna Wiggle My Tooth?

She'd been saying those words for months, thrusting her jaw toward any finger that would oblige. But when that tiny pearl finally broke free from her mouth, Emily was more delighted than I've ever seen her.

Another baby, another milestone. On her way to a full mouth of adult teeth that will change her appearance forever. I'm determined to willingly release this wee one to more delights that mark her journey as signposts in growing up. You go, Girl!

What a precious expression she has. My {almost} 7 year old has yet to lose his first tooth. Well naturally at least. He chipped his front tooth and the dentist needed to pull it out two years ago... He is anticipating the first loose tooth though and inspects his mouth on a weekly basis.

Thanks for the inspiration to cherish these memories and delight in each stage as they grow.

Joy in the mileposts -- that's just what I needed to hear tonight, Heather. Thanks!
