Grace For Habit Building

I have a habit. I love to write lists. I make them one after another and rarely see them all to completion. Oh, the marvelous intentions! I'm the best beginner of all fantastic plans. I have fabulous ideas and would love to share them with you, but sadly, I'm not a finisher of them. In a perfect world, my children would have two teachers, one to commence wonderful projects and one to help them carry them through. But it's not a perfect world and I must be the one who encounters the living God daily and humbly asks for His grace. I must relent all my lofty ideas and submit to the routine and schedule He's calling me to align with. And so I have begun Ann's 100 Day Habit Calendar. So far, I've made a great start :)

Photo is a reminder of an item crossed off my list in honour of a birthday wish of one of my children (yay!).

I have printed off those 100 Days Calendars too...nothing is written on them yet! Good intentions. :)

Love,
Camille

That's funny, Camille!
As for my smile, I think I'm talking and laughing at the same time, as usual :)

Oh my. I can tell you're a wonderful mother by the picture. :-)

I am SUCH a list-maker, too. And how I do stray from my lists. Just carry the leftovers into the next day. But I do feel I get more accomplished because I have the lists. I'm trying this year though to put fewer things on my lists so I can open up more margin in my life. I'm not there yet, but getting better...

Love your blog! Great pics of your family. I like what you say in your profile: "learning how to make the most of my mountain-top experiences with the Lord in order to do combat tin the valley." I'm visiting from A Holy Experience linky list. Blessings!

I need to become a list maker! I have them all stored in my head which is not always the best way to get things done LOL!

Off to write my list....

Blessings,
Julia

Me too! I'm a great starter. If only I could finish with such gusto. Perhaps that means I can't start so many things at once! Haha.

Your smile is positively lovely.

I love list-making. I'm the visionary of the family and thankfully I'm married to a practical guy who makes sure I see through some of my 'plans'!

Are you trying to develop a habit of overcoming fear of spiders?!?!?

I've cleared the schedule this year because we need to be doing some serious habit building here at home.

Good Early Sat. am~

Just wanted to whisper a quick hello. I've been trying to do that more and more as I come across a blog that seems to echo my own heart.

God's deepest joy,
Angie
