How To Keep Cool When You Don't Have A "Real" Pool

Counting blessings one by one...

371. our little pool that suffices
372. our music department
373. battery chargers
374. Ride For Cancer Research
375. picnics with family
376. beautiful piano recital
377. fruit platters on Sunday evenings
378. early morning calls from God
379. answering the call in the early morning--I listened!
380. long-time mentors and new ones too
381. filling Christmas shoe boxes--thanks for the encouragement, Oxana!
holy experience

Beautiful list Heather! GREAT shots of the kids in the pool ~ It IS real...just little. ;-) We have a small kids pool that we put a little kids slide into during the HOT days (we don't have them yet) ~ LOADS of fun!! :)

Have a wonderful day!
With Love,
Camille

Ok...so your children are BEAUTIFUL...must be taking after their mom! :)

loved your 378. early morning calls from God. I get so thrilled when He talks to me, but more excited when I actually obey what He asks of me to do! :)

Have a fabulous day!

Great list and pictures! The pool may be small, but I bet it is cool. I like it when God talks to me in the morning too...I LOVE that I am finally taking the time to listen! Beautiful post...have a wonderful day.

Get a pool!
(or come use ours).
Great pictures, nonetheless! So much to be thankful for.

Your children are beautiful, Heather. I think I've probably told you that before...they just have the sweetest faces. I love their expressions that you catch with the camera!

Two things that I've loved in keeping my Gratitude Journal...the first is how heightened my senses have become to the very smallest of blessings...I used to think bigger or biggest meant the best. Abba is showing me that isn't necessarily true. He demonstrates His love, majesty and grace to us in some very minute ways/things.

Secondly, He has been transforming me from a negative person to a more positive person. I love that God isn't one who waves a wand and instantly changes us, but rather that He takes the time to grow us up in Him, little by little. I find joy in even that!

Thank you for your transparency when you post, Heather.

life is funny ~ our pool has served us well, but sits empty so often now .
the older ones lounge by it more than swim in it :)
