He Still Moves Mountains

What's your mountain? God can move it! Don't believe me? The praise reports I've heard lately prove His existence, His power and His love for His people. I was blown away yesterday by yet another story of a marriage that was filed for divorce and the Lord flipped the whole thing around within a matter of days. This couple is incredibly changed--both husband and wife, individually. I shook my head with tears brimming as the wife recounted how the Lord masterfully gifted His godly sorrow upon them for their sin and how each of them is so overwhelmed by who they were in the marriage, that suddenly, the other person's "issues" don't seem as looming anymore. Only a great and loving God can do this. Before it happens, no one would ever desire to feel the pain of their own sin but after the truth is brought to light by the Holy Spirit, the unbelievable miracle that ensues is astounding!
Be encouraged, Friends! Your situation is not too big for God to handle!

Matthew 17:20 Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”

Mark 10:27
Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God.”

Good Evening Heather~
Here is the Liquid Laundry Soap recipe you asked for. I know this will be long and if you want, please feel free to delete from your comments. ;~P
1 regular bar of plain soap (I used Fels Naptha cuz we get dirty!)
1 cup Borax
1/2 cup Washing Soda
1/2 cup Baking Soda
water
Grate the soap.
Heat 6 cups of water on the stove and add the grated soap. Stir occasionally, until the soap melts.

Once the grated soap is melted, add 1 cup Borax, 1/2 cup washing soda, and 1/2 cup baking soda, stirring to dissolve.
(Use a large pot, large enough to hold all the water ~ over 2 gallons.)
Add one quart of very hot water to your soap mixture.
Stir well. Add six more quarts of cold water. (If you want to add scent, now is the time. Add 10-15 drops)
Stir well again and ladle or scoop the mixture into your container. I use a five gallon bucket with a plastic measure.
Use 1/2 cup per large load of laundry. Mixture may gel or clump as it sits, so stir before each use.
I don't remember where I got this recipe, but I think when I made it I needed to add even more water. I made a double batch. Before Christmas I gave a laundry soap size container away and have just now finished up what was left. It has lasted me 4 months!
I also have a powdered recipe that is similar~
2 lbs. Borax
2 lbs. Washing Soda
2 lbs. Baking Soda
1 1/2 bars Fels Naptha grated fine

This works great in hot water loads. Fels Naptha needs hot water to melt even when it is grated fine.

Have fun and let me know what you think!

Blessings!

Only God would know I would read this on your beautiful blog today exactly when needed my friend. The message applies to anything that seems too big to handle on one's own. How exciting to be reading this right now.

What a beautiful post! God is so incredible! I just heard about another encouraging story about a baby born on the weekend. There were several birthing complications during delivery, and it was touch and go, but our God can and does move mountains! The baby was born perfect and the mom is recovering nicely. Many had the burden to pray for this girl that evening, and God did intervene. After the ordeal, the medical staff said "this baby could have been born brain dead." But our God is bigger than any situation, complication, or problem! Thanks for sharing this encouraging post!
