Will You Marry Me?

My husband came home one evening and announced that a man was going to propose to his girlfriend at our nursery. He had chosen Connons by recommendation of its ambiance and he had specific requests for his dream proposal. Terry agreed and my sister-in-law, Leanne (who just happens to be a wedding designer) and other staff set to work at decorating the already beautiful waterfall for the special day.
Groom-to-be, Frank, told his future bride that they would be stopping at the nursery for some specialty bulbs for his mother. When they arrived last Saturday, he strolled with her down the lovely pathway that led to their romantic location. With candles surrounding and rose petals spelling out, "Will you marry me, Cristina?", the excited man got down on his knee and asked her to be his bride. She cried and after he slid the ring on her finger, he turned and shouted, "She said, yes!". Much to her surprise, they had an applauding audience of staff, customers, and the local newspaper! Frank had a table of refreshments for the unassuming, yet privileged spectators.
Two of the Connons' staff humouring me and acting out the proposal before the big day so I could take a photo.

So cute. Thanks, Girls :)

Our two amazing nephews.

Very cool, it made the paper (I read Terry's name in there too)! That would make a beautiful backdrop to actually get married there.
How romantic!!!
