Ten thousand women gathered in New York this weekend to praise the Lord and to hear stories of healing and redemption from several fabulous speakers, singers and a dramatist. We laughed until we cried and cried until we could do nothing else but laugh. We were able to draw close to God in a rare and special way--in the presence of so many hungry female believers. This month, consider joining a girlfriend in "drawing close". Whether it be in prayer or devotions, find someone with whom you can share your October journey. God has promised His presence where two or more are gathered.On this Canadian Thanksgiving Day, I'm so grateful to have been part of such a gathering.
