I love that this season has two names. Whichever you're in the mood for, it rolls off your tongue so nicely :) As the trees show off their new colours and my children exclaim of their beauty around every corner we drive or walk, I praise God for this extra time with them. Homeschooling allows for so many wonder-filled moments as a family and I wouldn't trade it. Even on difficult days, my eyes are opened to the gift I have in pointing out the Lord's goodness and creativity every minute I have.
Now, to work on them seeing His goodness in me!
The downside to homeschooling is that they witness every mood of mine--good and bad--and experience the times I fail them. This can also be an upside if I use the Lord's guidance as a lesson for them to see my humanness and how He molds me. So, as I change along with the season this month, I pray that it will be noticed by my children and that they'll understand how the Almighty Creator of the earth is interested in the state of our hearts.

what a great idea for the trees!! I am going to copy it on friday :)
I am SO WITH YOU about my children seeing every moment of my day - all the ways I fall and fail - it's hard, and it's an opportunity to point all of us to the cross. Thanks for being so honest and transparent.
And I LOVE the trees!!!
I soooo want to do this!! The art looks awesome.
You are a good teacher. A vessel. Your children are very blessed.

hmmm, I want to do this bad enough that maybe we'll try this outside and then come in for the leaf part... We like to pretend that we have a normal fall like the rest of you all! :)
