Day Sixteen (of 31 Days)

"...the joy of the Lord is my strength." Nehemiah 8:10. Molly took this photo after I did a little shoot with her. She's not fond of sitting for more than a minute for me but she would be patient this time... if I allowed her to take photos of me. She caught me in a laugh here and it wasn't blurry :) I don't mind a picture of me if I'm laughing. We all radiate joy when we giggle in true amusement or laugh shamelessly. I want to exude the joy of the Lord. People who are close to me know the pain and sorrow but also the unbelievable blessings I have experienced. I have known my Saviour my whole life but it's only the drawing close that causes me to respond to my circumstances-whatever they may be-with His pure joy. How do people walk this earth and find meaning in their life's ups and downs without Him? We have a forever kind of hope. His joy IS my strength. His strength is made perfect in my weakness (2Corinthians 12:9). Praise God that weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning! (Psalm 30:5) As we draw close together, we will experience this powerful and desirable fruit of the Spirit.

Molly-I personally l.o.v.e this photograph. You captured it at just the right moment.

Mommy-Your words always inspire me and encourage me to go on loving the Lord.

By the way, in that other post about kids having to see you read the Bible, I do. A lot. So you don't have to worry about that! You are a wonderful mother and teacher, not just in education but in many other ways too like being more like Jesus. You also give lots of daily tips to live by and what-not-to-do's and you like it when we learn by expiriences.

I hope you know that you're the best Mommy ever and I am happy to know that you are striving to be more like Jesus even though you are already a very good influence.

Loving you.

Oh. Dear. Me. I returned for the second time today Heather and see your Meghan commented. HOW PRECIOUS!!! What a blessing!! One day at a time with the LORD modelling HIM before them...THAT's what it's all about! Be encouraged...obviously the LORD is doing HIS perfect work in you. To God be the GLORY!

With Love,
Camille
